2018 – a Great Year for MinerEye

Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year from us at Minereye. We welcome you to take a quick look at what we’ve accomplished in 2018 with our customers, partners and the great team at MinerEye.

New Customers
MinerEye saw its customer base increase with the addition of new customers in multiple verticals that include finance, software, and manufacturing. During the past year, we’ve learned that automated data governance is essential to many more use cases than we had envisioned. You’re welcome to contact us to learn more about our 2018 projects.

Awarded a $2.5 Million EU Grant
Through this grant, awarded this week by the Horizon 2020 EU innovation program we’ll be providing more EU companies with our AI-Powered data governance and security solution. Quoting the grant committee: “the timing is perfect, as the new European regulation is in favor of such solutions.”

launched Our New Product
Early in April MinerEye launched the DataTracker tool that fuses computer vision and machine learning to auto-categorize and track information – including dark and unstructured data – at unprecedented speed and ease of use, assuring robust data protection in hybrid cloud environments.

Forged Important Alliances
We signed a few important including Promark – an Ingram Micro subsidiary; with Agile Defense, a leading systems integrator specializing in the US government and defense sectors; and with UHY Advisors NY, to bolster their Risk Advisory Group.

Endorsed by Leading Research Companies
MinerEye was featured as a key vendor this year in no less than nine Gartner reports, including its Hype Cycle reports and its advice paper on the readiness of the three major CSPs for GDPR. In September, KuppingerCole published an executive view on DataTracker, naming it among the most game-changing solutions in the field of data governance.

Welcomed Industry Leader Malcolm Harking as Board Member
In May we appointed industry leader Malcolm Harkins to our advisory board. Harkins is the chief security and trust officer (CSTO) at Cylance (Acquired by Blackberry for $1.4Bn), and previously was vice president and chief security and privacy officer at Intel Corporation.

Participated at Key Events
In April our CEO Yaniv Avidan pitched our solution at Security Shark Tank in San Francisco and was interviewed by ZDnet. We also demonstrated our data classification technology at NVidia Inception Connect. In May MinerEye showcased our collaboration with Azure Information Protection at MS Build in Seattle; in October we demonstrated our technology at NVidia GTC Israel, and in November we gave a Keynote speech at Cybersecurity Leadership Summit 2018.
